Your listings never leave your computer.
BinFlip is a Chrome extension. When you are looking at one of your own eBay listings and press the button, it reads what is already on that page — the title, photos, condition, size and item details — and fills those into the Vinted listing form in your browser.
Nothing about what you sell. There is no BinFlip account, no sign-up, no analytics and no tracking pixel. We cannot see your listings, your sales, your prices or your marketplace accounts.
On a paid plan there is one exception, described under Licence checks below.
BinFlip saves a small amount of information inside your own browser, using Chrome's extension storage:
This stays on your computer. Removing the extension deletes it.
Only eBay and Vinted, as you. It loads your listing photos from eBay's image servers in order to attach them to the Vinted form, and it checks the public pages of listings you have already posted, about once an hour, to notice when one has sold. It uses the browser sessions you are already signed in to. It never sends anything to any other site.
A paid licence has to be checked against something, so on a paid plan the extension sends your licence key and a random installation id to our licence server about once a day. That is the whole request. It carries no listings, no photos, no prices and no marketplace account details, and the server stores only the key, the plan it belongs to and how many installations have used it.
On the free plan no licence check happens at all, and the extension never contacts us unless you use the phone camera described below.
This part is different from the rest of BinFlip, so it is worth reading. If you open binflip.app/snap on your phone and photograph an item, those photos are sent to our server and passed to Anthropic’s Claude API, which reads them and writes the listing text. The photos and the draft are held on our server only until your computer collects them, and in no case longer than 48 hours, after which they are deleted. We do not keep copies, we do not use your photos to train anything, and Anthropic does not train on API data.
Your licence key is sent with the photos so we know whose allowance to count against. Nothing else about you is attached.
If you never use the phone camera, none of this applies and nothing about what you sell ever leaves your computer.
Paid plans are handled by Stripe. Stripe receives your payment details directly; BinFlip never sees or stores a card number. Stripe's own privacy policy governs that information.
BinFlip is a tool for people selling on eBay and Vinted, both of which require users to be 18 or older. It is not directed at children.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the Chrome Web Store listing will point to the updated page.
